Victory over Japan Memory and Celebration Event

Come and join Chard Museum, Chard Town Council and organisations from the Culturally Chard Networking Group, and the Community Plan Working Group to remember the 80th Anniversary of the official end of World War 2.

The afternoon starts at 14:00 will have activities and experiences for all ages. Especially poignant are the original diaries and photographs of soldiers who fought in the Far East theatre. Artefacts are available for visitors to feel and hold. Music, stalls, and food will be available.
