The Spring Issue of the Chard Flyer is now available. As in every issue local historians and the Museum are supported to share updates, stories and topical points of interest. One of our favourite features are the photographs from Craig Hussey (p.15). In this issue he features "Sweet Memories of Chard'. There is an excellent piece on the Stop Line (p.11) and specifically the section from Chard to Ilminister. Linda Vijeh, a District Councillor and Museum Trustee shares her thoughts on the importance of Museum's now and in the future (p.15). The Museum (p.7) shares its reaction to the third lockdown, its ongoing Chard Remembers project and the plans to reopen on June 17th. Thank you to Anthony and his team for continuing to share the history of our local community and support the Museum. You can pick up a copy at most major outlets in the town or through the Chard Flyer website.
