our first ever heritage half-term activitIes programme for children and their families
The programme consists of four activities, one each day starting on Monday 25th through to Thursday 28th October from 1100 - 1300. It is aimed at those under 14 and their families. Activities will be held in different areas of the Museum.
The programme is provided at no cost. There is only one request and that is children under 15 are accompanied by an adult, and hopefully adults will join in the fun.
All activities are held at Chard Museum which is at the top of the High Street. Read our Visit Us page for directions and the nearest parking.
As part of Culturally Chard and the Big Draw workshops take place with Somerset Art Works artists at the Museum. The Big Draw Festival takes place worldwide throughout October, celebrating all forms of drawing and creativity.
